SAME SAME Signs with Sony BMG Thailand

Bob and Clint Moffatt (formerly of The Moffatts) have come to an agreement with SONY BMG Thailand on a three-album deal.

SONY BMG Managing Director Gerald Dibbayawan wouldn’t go into detail on the terms of the agreement but expressed that both the band and the record label were happy with the terms. “Anytime you can sign an artist with a track record like the Moffatts, (possibly the largest selling International album of all time for SE Asia) it’s pretty exciting,” Dibbayawan said. “Their talent as song writers, musicians, vocalists and producers speaks for itself. They’ve written and recorded a great album here and its chock full of great songs, reminiscent of The Moffatts smash album back in 1998/99, Chapter 1: A New Beginning.”

Clint felt that the energy and creative mindset within the SONY BMG offices played a big part in their choosing SONY BMG. This business is getting tougher everyday and it takes creative, out-of-the-box thinking by everyone for any act to be successful these days.
